place at my 5th Pro Figure show
This
trip to NY was a good one. I gave myself enough time to
rest before the show.
I did go out and walk around the area to do a little bit
of shopping just to relax myself a little bit.
I spent some time catching up with old friends (competitors)
and then it was time to prepare for the show.
I took photos in the hotel room every morning & evening
leading up to the show and adjusted the diet/water accordingly.
I think that my appearance for this show was pretty OK in
my opinion and many others but it was not my absolute best.
As usual, the problem was always related to my lower body
particularly my glute/hamstring tie-in.
I was extremely disappointed in my placing and then had
one of the judges tell me that Pilates would help with my
problem. Another told me that I had young muscle and needed
to work on my upper body.
This was the first time I even received any negative comments
regarding my upper body. I just think that this particular
judge did not remember my physique on stage and came up
with the upper body comment.
But that’s just how the story goes.
